Contact the house
Opens an email draft for a general enquiry. This is not an introduction request. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Private access is by invitation.
Starting points
Two starting points, one process
If you are buying
Tell us what you are looking for, the segment and your role. You do not need to share volumes, prices or counterparties to begin.
Summaries are shared first. Specification, price and documents follow in stages.
If you are placing an asset or a mandate
Tell us what you hold or represent, the segment and your authority to act. Documents are requested later, not in the first enquiry.
Nothing about your asset is shown to a buyer until the house has reviewed it and the right agreement is in effect.
The same agreements and stages apply to buyers and sellers.
Stages
The six stages
01 · A first conversation
Understand what you want to buy or place, and whether it sits within what the house introduces.
- What you provide
- Your name, how to reach you, whether you are buying, placing an asset or advising, and the segment. Nothing confidential.
- Who assists
- Public introduction requests are not yet open. An introduced enquiry is intended to begin with a conversation with the house.
- What happens next
- You are contacted to arrange a conversation, or told plainly that the request is outside scope.
- Your safeguards
- No commitment on either side.
02 · Identity, purpose and authority
Confirm who you are, agree the purpose of the discussion and who you act for.
- What you provide
- An identity check, arranged by the house, plus your role, the organisation you represent and, if you act for someone else, your authority to do so.
- Who assists
- Your relationship contact at the house.
- What happens next
- Once your identity is confirmed, your organisation is recorded and the relevant summaries can be shown to you.
- Your safeguards
- Nothing beyond the first summary is shown until your identity is confirmed. Any statement you make is recorded as your statement, not as a verified fact.
03 · Confidentiality agreement
Put a confidentiality agreement in place before anything sensitive is shared.
- What you provide
- Signature on the confidentiality agreement arranged by the house.
- Who assists
- The house issues the agreement; you may take independent legal advice before signing.
- What happens next
- Signed is not yet in effect. The agreement takes effect when it is countersigned.
- Your safeguards
- Consent and independent review sit with you.
04 · Specification and price
Review the specification and document list, then the price.
- What you provide
- Any questions on the material shown to you.
- Who assists
- Your relationship contact; a named approver at the house releases the price.
- What happens next
- Specification opens once the agreement is in effect. Price is released separately by a named approver.
- Your safeguards
- The intended process is to agree who may receive the material and the purpose for which it may be used.
05 · Letter of intent and introduction
Confirm intent and, where both parties approve, make the introduction.
- What you provide
- A letter of intent, soft or hard depending on the matter.
- Who assists
- The house proposes; a named approver decides for each party.
- What happens next
- Documents, exact location and the introduction are intended to be shared only after the relevant approvals.
- Your safeguards
- Each party approves separately.
06 · Record and next steps
Keep a single record of what was shared, signed and decided.
- What you provide
- Nothing further unless a document is requested.
- Who assists
- Your relationship contact.
- What happens next
- The matter continues between the parties, or is closed with the outcome recorded.
- Your safeguards
- When the matter closes, your access to its material ends. The confidentiality agreement still applies, including its terms on returning or destroying material.

How a document moves

Boundaries
When a request cannot proceed
Outside scope
If a request is not something the house introduces, you are told so plainly. Nothing you sent is shared.
Information incomplete
You are asked only for what is missing, and the request stays open until it arrives.
Agreement pending
Until the confidentiality agreement is in effect, you see summaries only.
Introduction cannot proceed
If either party declines, or approval is not given, the introduction does not take place and both parties are told.
